Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

You've heard it a zillion times.  "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"  If you are like me when I was a teen, you roll your eyes and think there is no hope.  I figured out the most important beholder is ME.  Yes if I feel like and think I am beautiful than others will follow suit.  It takes time and perhaps you need to start small.  Pick a favorite feature of youself.  For me it was my Right eye.  Told you I started small.  Perhaps you have nice fingers or air.  Once you find something you find pretty about yourself look for other things.  When it comes to taking care of yourself and imposing a beauty routine you may think Why bother.  I felt that way for along time.  To be honest it really does make you feel better about yourself which improves your outlook, your posture, and your behavior.  In turn others treat you nicer and with respect.  Yes it is sad that beauty counts, it is the way it is and instead of moping around and feeling sorry for myself I decided that yes I am important enough and good enough to deserve nice things, and makeup and the day I started doing my make up really well, I went to Walmart and the cashiers kept saying how nice I looked and asked if I changed my hair color.  The last time I dyed my hair is 5 mths ago and my roots are showing.

Also makeup is fun.  It is fun to collect and fun to play with.  You will use it forever and it never goes out of style.  There are new ways to do it and you can switch it up or keep it the same.  There is something for everyone.  So join me in my voyage to be better first for myself, my family and my community.  I will blog reviews of products so you don't waste your money on crap.  I will answer any questions you have about being disabled and any trouble you may have.  It is very easy for people such as ourselves to get into ruts of depression and sadness because we feel alone and misunderstood and perhaps even inferior.  There is hope for everyone and there is beauty in everyone.  Let the inner beauty shine to the outside of you.
